The online translator provides instant results. Depending on the text length, Verification is available in as little as 8 minutes. For the other services, you can choose between Express (6 hours), 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 days and 1 week.

With a subscription, you can rest assured that your automatic translations will not be stored. For professional services, processed texts and supporting documents such as style guides are transmitted in encrypted form and stored on Swiss servers.

All major credit cards and PayPal, payable in CHF or EUR. Business customers with regular orders can also settle all their Supertext services in a single invoice. Simply submit a request via your profile settings.

With customised AI translation, you’re teaching the AI model your own tone of voice. It learns your corporate language based on style guides, glossaries, specific domains and previous translations. This allows it to incorporate your style, formatting, sentence structures and specific terms into the translations. Your own, ideally. The basis is our in-house translation system based on the latest LLM technology. We then adapt this to your specific needs with every professionally verified translation. Always up-to-date, ensuring that your entire company speaks with one voice.
Simply put: through repetition. Our training is step-by-step and LLM-based. Our pretraining involves training language models on billions of documents, enabling them to follow instructions precisely. The subsequent customisation occurs as the model learns to adapt translations based on style guides and terminology lists, as well as information on corporate language, language region and tone of voice. In contrast to NMT-based models, LLMs can be adapted in near real-time with this approach. Terminology can be updated immediately and automatically flow into the next translation.
We keep your data safe with the highest data management standards, robust encryption and the most secure Swiss servers. With a subscription, you can rest assured that your automatic translations will not be stored. Our certifications (ISO 27001, 17100, 18587, 9001) demonstrate our data security and quality assurance standards. That’s why banks, public authorities and insurers put their trust in us.
The standard version is trained on a wide range of data. This allows the model to understand and process all kinds of non-specialist texts. For customised corporate wording, the model requires in-house training texts – glossaries and style guides for the light version, and your existing translations for the fully adapted version

For AI translations, we currently allow files of up to a maximum of 1 million characters in the source language. The file formats and sizes allowed depend on your subscription. For all the details, please see our subscription overview.

Yes, provided you create a free Supertext account. This not only allows you to benefit from higher usage limits for AI translation, but also gives you access to all your past Verification orders via your profile.

AI translation often provides very good results. However, there are still occasional cases that are incomprehensible, inaccurate or even factually incorrect. Regardless of how many changes an individual translation requires, our Verification service gives you one thing above all: the security of knowing that your text is correct in terms of both content and language.
Of course. The Verification service is billed on a per-order basis, regardless of whether you have an AI translation subscription or not.

The service is therefore intended for texts that simply need to be 100% understandable and factually correct. For more specialised and/or creative texts, we recommend our more comprehensive expert translation services.
Our Verification service is designed for text entered directly into the online translation interface, up to a maximum of 3,000 characters (in the source language). For longer texts or documents, you can choose our expert translation service, with a delivery time from six hours for most orders.
One of our experienced professional translators. They are all native speakers of their target language, have a university degree in translation and/or at least five years of professional experience, and undergo rigorous internal testing. Please note that, due to the very short delivery time, we cannot guarantee that the same person will always work on your orders when you use the Verification service.

With a Supertext API subscription, you can also:

Glossary
Of course – you can save a separate glossary for any desired language combination. Then all you need to do is activate the relevant glossary when translating, and it will be taken into account in the output.
You can create an unlimited number of glossaries for any desired language combination. Currently, glossaries can be integrated into any text or file translation carried out in your browser or via API. Our professional services also allow users to upload separate glossaries on request.
"In the interface, simply create an entry with the term in the source language and the preferred translation in the target language, and the desired expression will be taken into account in every translation you make. Users can also change or delete terms and add new ones at any time. An Advanced subscription or higher is required to use glossaries.
Please note that we do not currently offer the ability to share glossaries. This means that each user specifies their own desired terminology."
A glossary allows users to determine how individual words and phrases should be translated. The Supertext AI translator scans the source text for terms in the glossary. When it recognises a term, it automatically replaces it with the stored target translation – regardless of the context. The whole thing happens in real time, with a specific glossary for each language pair. Glossaries have the highest priority and override the automatically generated translation.

You can use our API to seamlessly integrate translation and text recognition features into your websites and programs. The HTTP interface lets you translate in real time directly in your core systems – from CMS to PIM to TMS – and scale your workflows to suit your needs.
For any content that you want to have translated directly yet securely, remaining brand-compliant in up to 28 languages. The API enables a wide range of possible use cases:

Of course: the Supertext API runs via a separate monthly subscription. This can also be combined with our online translator subscriptions, if desired.
You can easily generate an unlimited number of API keys in your dashboard for maximum productivity and teamwork. Simply log in, create and copy keys, embed them in your desired program and off you go.
The monthly base fee for the Supertext API is EUR/CHF 4.90. There are also usage-based costs of EUR/CHF 20 per million characters, which are also billed monthly. As an admin, you can track API usage, including current costs and translated characters, at any time in the dashboard.
Verifications are charged separately. You can check the exact price of every order in advance using the API.
As an admin, you can view, copy, comment on, delete and add new API keys in your dashboard.
Once you have taken out a subscription, it takes less than five minutes to get started:
- Create an API key in the Supertext dashboard
- Use the key to embed the API into the code of your website or program
- Specify usage limits and users if necessary
- Done. You can use our translation and speech recognition capabilities directly in any system environment.
