BACKGROUND
Reporting on a grand scale
The German children’s charity Kindernothilfe helps children in need in 36 countries around the world and provides its sponsors with detailed annual progress reports on the status of the projects. These reports are based on extensive annual reports from partner organisations, which must be synthesised, compressed and presented in an appealing manner: a considerable challenge with around 500 projects per year.
AIM
Transparent reporting, controllable costs
Efficient creation of progress reports while keeping costs under control. The reports are intended to demonstrate Kindernothilfe’s commitment to its sponsors transparently and traceably, including both facts and figures as well as the personal stories of the children being supported.
SOLUTION
Streamlined process + experienced team = maximum impact
Supertext assembled a fixed team of seven copywriters with NGO experience, supplemented by a specifically briefed editor. A lean process was established, gaining efficiency through repetition. Kindernothilfe created orders in its own project management system and stored all its reference files in the cloud. Supertext coordinated the information, distributed the orders, created the texts in the desired layout and proofread them. The finished texts were then delivered to Kindernothilfe. Cost control was achieved by means of a fixed price per report, which decreased as the number of reports produced increased.
“We are fully convinced. The collaboration is always uncomplicated, reliable and fast. Our workflow has proven itself – as has Supertext as a copywriting partner."
